"Our Primary Objective
and Purpose."

The primary objective and purpose of Heritage Christian School is to train the student in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life and to give the student an excellent education. The teachers of Heritage Christian School realize the solemn responsibility before God in molding the life and character of each of their students to give a good foundation for each child's future. The well-qualified administration and faculty demonstrate a caring concern for each child under their care.

One of our aims is to challenge each student to work up to his God-given ability. Parental encouragement and discipline in the home will help us to be successful. Christian education is more than attending a Christian School. It involves the practical application of Christian principles in the home and preparation in a vibrant, Bible-believing church. By God's grace, this threefold cord will not be easily broken.

Heritage Christian School uses ABeka Book textbooks which is a leading Christian textbook publisher nationally and internationally. For over 30 years ABeka has been developing quality textbooks from a Biblical world view.

The ABeka Book approach to Christian education keeps learning lively, interesting, and memorable. There materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practicality. A Beka Book materials have been developed as a result of 50 years of actual classroom experience in Pensacola Christian Academy, one of America’s largest and most respected Christian day schools.

ABeka Book skilled researchers and writers do not paraphrase progressive education textbooks and add Biblical principles; they do primary research in every subject and look at the subject from God’s point of view.

Bible study is recognized here as of fundamental importance and is a required subject. It augments the study of English, history, geography, and science. Without a knowledge of Biblical truth a student cannot be considered educated. The Bible gives direction for this life and the only hope for the life to come. No other book can so enrich the minds and hearts of men as "The Book of Books."

A knowledge of the Bible is one of the greatest educational assets any man can have in addition to the moral and spiritual values resulting from the study. Character development is the most important work of a school. No other course offered in the school affords the great opportunities for laying the foundation for Christian character. Heritage Christian School uses the King James Version (KJV) exclusively.

Each morning you can hear the echoes of children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in each classroom, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, “My Country Tis of Thee” or “America the Beautiful.”  At Heritage Christian School, students are taught to love their country, and are given opportunities to demonstrate their patriotism daily.  Congressmen and leaders in our government also visit classrooms and hold special assemblies, keeping our students aware of current events and the part they play in keeping our freedoms secure for the future.

Heritage Christian School provides students with academic and spiritual instruction based on Biblical principles, thus enabling every student to develop a servant's heart so they may identify, embrace, and fulfil God's unique purpose for their lives.
