Reading is taught in kindergarten. Students begin with letters and sounds and progress to reading words, sentences and stories in their own reading books. Besides reading, your child will learn simple arithmetic and good cursive writing skills that will give them a head start in the elementary grades. Kindergarten graduation, complete with cap and gown, will be a time that you will treasure for years to come.

Heritage Christian School’s high school curriculum includes standard high school subjects as well as college preparatory courses. In addition to core academic courses, electives in computer and foreign language are offered. Every student at HCS receives training in Bible as part of his required curriculum.
